My biggest fear

My biggest fear is that the startup will be destroyed by a larger competitor with greater access to resources.

Honestly, looking at what is happening in the online sphere in 2026, it makes sense to fear that tomorrow your business will be destroyed by an off-the-shelf solution, a new plugin from ChatGPT/Claude, or some startup from the UAE with $50 million in investment.

Over the weekend I was thinking about it and understood something.

Even if your idea is something a large company with more resources wants to implement, you should always look at the situation in detail.

Every company is people, resources also belong to somebody, even an AI company is managed and motivated by people, by their goals, ambitions, emotions and weaknesses.

I started asking myself interesting questions:

Can I surpass one of the employees of this company by some criterion? I can.

Can I want to achieve the goal more and stronger than many people in the company, who were hired "for a salary", and not to create their dream startup. Yes, I can, very much.

Can I go deeper and focus on separate elements? I can.

Can I show more patience and not stop for a longer time? I can.

Can I adapt faster and make decisions in new circumstances faster than a company of several dozen people? Definitely.

Even if some company makes a similar product, can I make it better, more precise, more personalized, or make a branch in a direction where there will be a competitive advantage? I can.

Can I gain more experience with this approach than any employee of a competing company, considering that I see ALL sides of the product, from development to design and sales? It is hard to argue with that, I can.

Can I withstand financial difficulties if I have nothing to pay employees with? I certainly can, I do not have any.

Can I later offer better prices and terms than a company that has many employees on salaries and obligations to investors in tens of millions. Here it gets especially interesting: I can. At the start their growth multiplier, "leverage", will work in their favor, but over time any resources require a return and growth, so their strength and superiority in resources will become their weakness and pressure that will crush them. And I just need to continue doing my work.

Focus, patience and flexibility are three qualities with which you cannot lose in the AI era, even to corporations. This is my vector of development for 2027.
