Directing AI

The ability to direct and use the best qualities of AI is the best skill to develop in yourself in the coming decades. I see this as clearly as I know my own name.

The point is that there will never be a world where we have nothing to do. There will always be tasks at the intersection of different technologies, fields and human relationships. There will always be those who win and those who fall behind. There will always be problems and challenges worth giving time, resources and motivation to. There will always be personal tasks and questions that nobody will solve for you.

Look around, do you often see people who do not have a mobile phone?

AI is already in every one of them. And it can perform useful tasks that can bring you money, recognition and self-realization.

My way of thinking has changed considerably over the last couple of years. Even if I want to grow tomatoes in a forest hut, I will not spend years experimenting and reinventing the wheel, but will use humanity's accumulated knowledge, that is, AI.

What can I say about work. Any task, even in the physical world, when baking bread, learning a new skill or negotiating, can be completed faster and better with AI.

In fact, the ability to create and manage the most effective possible swarm of AI agents is what everything comes down to in the future. Every person is a corporation. And you, as its manager, determine what its scale, success, depth and so on can be.

In this case, we ourselves are the limit on that effectiveness.
