How a team of 10–50 can reach $1B

A man trying to enter an upright glass bottle, with the headline How a team of 10–50 can reach $1B.

In the AI revolution, it is becoming clear that projects with small teams can reach unprecedented levels of revenue. But despite how impressive AI agents are, I know a bottleneck that stands in the way.

You can get every employee to use ChatGPT or Claude, but for agents to do tasks the way we expect, someone has to keep setting goals, checking, pushing and accepting the results. The bottleneck in this kind of AI integration is the person managing it.

We also often do not know what is happening in other departments. The founder does not understand why their words are interpreted differently, why priorities are not aligned or where customers are being lost. On top of that, there is friction within the team.

For small teams to compete with the giants, they need to be exceptionally coordinated, like a single organism. A company organised this way could work 5–10 times more efficiently.

Now let’s put the recipe together:

1. A team of 10–50 people

2. AI agents in every process

3. Excellent coordination between the team and the agents

While the second point is already being addressed, the third is still struggling.

The solution, as I see it:

1. The whole team keeps the company’s context and memory in one place, accessible to any employee or their agent.

2. This is done through AI interviews with everyone in the company, including the founder.

Who better than AI to structure huge amounts of information, spot contradictions, trends and problem areas? What do you think?
